Ludwigia repens ‘Rubin’

Ludwigia repens ‘Rubin’ is might be most red plant I have in my aquariums. It has hard and a little pointy leaves.
Its color is perfectly described by word rubin, the color is not just red, but wine-red. It’s perfect!
Look at the photo, you will see that the plant is nicely wine-red.

This is a fast-growing plant, it requires at least medium light, but in order to make it turns into a red beauty, high light is important. As any other red plant it needs extra iron fertilization.
